The heart of our receivable collection capability is the Flexible Automated Collection System (FACS) software program developed by Ontario Systems Corporation of Muncie, Indiana - one of the nation's largest and best- known developers of state-of-the-art collection software. We also have invested in Ontario's latest "predictive dialer" software enhancements.
The FACS program permits us to operate a fully automated system. Besides helping our collectors better utilize their time, our system allows management to track the daily activities of each collector. Daily, weekly, and monthly reports provide our managers with detailed collection productivity information, including the number of calls made, number of accounts received, dollars committed for payment and money received. It allows us to accept amounts for placement via the internet, diskette, or manual date entry.
We are fortunate that our offices are located just a few blocks from Ontario Systems' headquarters in Muncie. This enables us to have almost instantaneous access to Ontario's extensive software support staff-no lengthy downtime, no costly travel charges for on-site service.
Our close proximity and our personal relationships with the principals and key managers of Ontario Systems provide Atlas with certain competitive advantages as well.
