Collection Agency Mini Miranda Statement

Published Friday, February 10, 2023 by Alan Holdren

The Mini Miranda Sec 807(11) for the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) is a necessary evil for agencies to ensure a debtor knows if there rights. Probably a great reason this exists because with no reason or rules no one would mess with saying it.

(This is an attempt to collect a debt and any information obtained will be used for that purpose.) This information is to be communicated to the debtor either in the first written communication with them or in the first oral communication with the debtor if it is prior to the written communication.

As this communication seems to be silly and redundant to the debt collector and to the debtors, it will keep individuals from being deceptive and hopefully keep some to the low life collectors out of the business and the FTC a stance to take when pursuing those that should not be in the collection business.

"You have to love a local company owned by local individuals that are committed to providing excellent service to businesses in a professional manner while maintaining a personal relationship with all parties involved."
